Left, Right, Center to feature McMurray

Nate McMurray, the Democratic candidate in the congressional race for New York’s 27th District, will attend the next meeting of Left, Right and Center, a political discussion group. Meat raffle taking place at ice rink

The Aurora Ice Association is hosting a meat raffle from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Healthy Zone Rink, 41 Riley St., East Aurora. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the raffle to start at 7 p.m. An after-party will be held at 42 North Brewing Co., 25 Pine St., East Aurora. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the door. Elma Fire Company sets steak roast

The Elma Fire Company will hold its annual steak roast from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the fire hall, 2945 Bowen Road, Elma. Tickets are $20. For more information, call 655-2454.

Roycroft to hold fall festival

The Roycroft Campus will hold its fall festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, and Sunday, Sept. 30, at 31 S. Grove St., East Aurora. The event features work from a variety of artists, animals from Thistle Creek Alpacas and Wild Spirit Education, and live music by Buffalo Ukulele Club, Deja2 and Noah Moses. Tour of Home to benefit group

The annual tour of homes in East Aurora will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Those interested in taking the self-guided tour should register at The Roycroft Inn, 40 S. Grove St., East Aurora, where they will receive a map of home locations. Tickets purchased in advance are $30, or $35 at the door. All proceeds will benefit Aurora Adult Day Services. Fundraiser for new playground set Oct. 6

The Boys & Girls Club of Elma, Marilla & Wales will hold a fall festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the club, 2080 Girdle Road, Elma. The event will feature food trucks, face painting and a basket raffle, along with vendors, games and activities. All proceeds will go toward building the new playground.

Bid for Kids slated for Oct. 20

The East Aurora Boys & Girls Club will host its biannual Bid For Kids fundraiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the club, 24 Paine St., East Aurora. The fundraiser will feature a live and silent auction, food samplings from area restaurants, and beer and wine. Tickets are $40, or two for $75. The event is open to those 21 and older.

Grief support group to meet

Elma Fire Company to hold raffle

The Elma Fire Company will host a sportsman’s raffle from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at 2945 Bowen Road, Elma. Admission is $20 and includes food, pop, beer and a carving station. More than $10,000 in prizes will be awarded, but winners do not need to be present at the event.

Volunteers needed for chicken dinner
