Toddler Time, for children 20 months to 3½ years, accompanied by an adult, is being offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays.

Story Time, for children 3½ to 5 years, is being offered at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays.

Family Story Time, for children up to 3½ years, is being offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Children 6 and older are invited to the Lego Club at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

Children will have a chance to make art projects during Crafternoons. The program starts at 3:30 p.m. and runs on Tuesdays through Aug. 21. Registration is required for each session.

Children ages 8-14 are invited to learn the basic of cartoon drawing during this class starting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9. Children will practice drawing shapes and actions, as well as facial expressions and speech bubbles. Registration is required.

Barbara Park Leggett, a professional life coach, will be on hand at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, for a seminar on how small changes can make a big difference. The program is open to those 50 years and older. Registration is required.

Those between the ages of 10 and 17 are invited to create an album cover and guitar pick necklace starting at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. Registration is required.

The library will host a magic show for all ages titled “Say No to Bullying” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. The show is free, and registration is not required.

Vacation Fun Club for children in grades one through four will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays, through Aug. 14. Join for stories, games, crafts and more. Registration is required.

Preschool Summer Fun Club for children ages 3½ to 5½ will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays through Aug. 16. Join staff members for crafts, games and stories. Registration is required.

Children 11 to 15 are invited to an “all-you-can-make art bar” starting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15. Come pick your art supplies and get creative with a friend. Call to register.

The Elma Book Club for adults will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, to discuss “Open House” by Elizabeth Berg. Call to register.

Omnipresent Puppet Theater will perform the story of “The Little Mermaid” at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.

The Elma Public Library will hold its End of Summer party at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. The party will include refreshments, raffles and more.

Children 5 and older will get a chance to read to a certified therapy dog for a 15-minute time period from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. Call to register.

Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to learn about South African dolls at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22. Those attending will also get a chance to make their own beaded dolls. Registration is required.
