Man admits to taking parking cones from Delaware Park

Saturday, June 16

An East Aurora woman returned to her car after purchasing gas at a Hamburg Street gas station and discovered her wallet was missing. Police discovered multiple purchases were made to the card following its disappearance.

Thursday, June 28

A 72-year old East Aurora woman was scammed out of $300 after being told her computer was infected with a virus.

Friday, June 29

A Holland woman with an order of protection against a man was spotted with the man at Emery Park. Police also discovered several traffic cones in the man’s car, which the man admitted he stole from Delaware Park.

Friday, June 22

Two people were injured following an accident on Transit Road.

Saturday, June 23

• Deputies temporarily closed a portion of Bowen Road and Clinton Street after a low-boy trailer became unhitched from a tractor trailer.

An Elma man was arrested for driving while intoxicated after he crashed into a fence at the Elma transfer station on Creek Road.

An unwanted guest at a Girdle Road home was accused of taking a horse saddle.

Tuesday, June 26

Deputies investigated forged checks that were being deposited in North Carolina and Illinois.

Wednesday, June 27

An abandoned car was discovered at a pizza place on Clinton Street. Deputies were able to make contact with the owner of the vehicle and the car was removed.
