Father-daughter dance scheduled

The Town of Aurora Recreation Department is holding a father-daughter dance from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 8, at the Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora. The event is open to girls ages 5 to 10. Tickets are $21, and registration is required. For more information, visit www.aurorarec.com.

Golf tournament to benefit ROC

The Rural Outreach Center will hold a nine-hole golf tournament from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 9, at Rolling Hills Par 3 Golf Course, 10739 Olean Road, Chaffee. A chicken dinner will also be provided by Wendel’s Poultry Farm starting at noon. Guests will have access to snacks, beverages and cigars. A $100 donation is requested. EA Garden Club to learn about wildlife

The East Aurora Garden Club will hold a meeting at noon Monday, June 11, at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, Main and Maple streets, East Aurora. Mark Carra from Beaver Meadows Audubon Center will talk about the wildlife that lives at the center. For more information, call Jo at 655-6736.

Indoor garage sale to benefit club

The Elma, Marilla, Wales Boys & Girls Club will host an indoor garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, June 10, at 2080 Girdle Road, Elma. Those interested in donating items may drop them off between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 6 and 7. For more information, call 652-9292.

West Falls Fire Company sets raffle

EA Music Fest set for June 9

The East Aurora Music Festival will be held from 2 p.m. until midnight Saturday, June 9. More than 80 bands will perform in 20 venues in an effort to raise money for local organizations. Presale tickets are $10, or $15 at the door. To find a list of presale vendors, visit www.eamusicfest.com.

Immanuel Quilters plans meetings

Summer Fest moves to new location

The Roycroft Summer Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 23 and 24, at Healthy Zone Ice Rink, 41 Riley St., East Aurora. The event features dozens of juried artisans, art demonstrations, live music and food. Admission is $5.

Aurora Waldorf to hold rummage sale

The Aurora Waldorf School will hold a rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 15; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 16; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at Aurora Waldorf School, 525 W. Falls Road, West Falls. Children’s clothing, sporting equipment, toys, household goods and other items will be for sale. Cash is preferred, but credit cards will be accepted.
