Immanuel Quilters plans meetings

Immanuel Quilters will meet at 9 a.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 43 Pine St., East Aurora. Lenten services offered every Wednesday

Nominations sought for Wall of Fame

The Iroquois Foundation is accepting nominations for the Iroquois Central School District Alumni Wall of Fame. Those selected to receive the honor will be invited to the high school graduation ceremony in June, where they will be recognized. The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 27. Bereavement Network sets basket raffle

The Western New York Perinatal Bereavement Network Inc. will hold a basket raffle fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at St. Gabriel’s Parish Hall, 5271 Clinton St., Elma. All proceeds from the event will benefit the programs of the WNYPBN. Admission is $10 and includes pizza, pop and snacks. For information, visit www.wnypbn.org.

Aurora Women’s Club to host guest speaker

Roycroft Inn offers whiskey-tasting event

The Roycroft Inn will host a four-course whiskey-tasting dinner starting at 6 p.m. Friday, March 9, at 40 S. Grove St., East Aurora. The courses include Mapleque oysters, Scotch eggs, Irish salmon and rack of lamb. The cost is $60. For more information or for reservations, call 652-5552.

Iroquois NHS to host Senior Citizens dance

The Iroquois National Honor Society will host a Senior Citizens Ball from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 9, in the Iroquois High School cafeteria, 2111 Girdle Road, Elma. The event is free and will feature games, entertainment and refreshments. For more information, call 652-3000, ext. 7873.

Garden Club to hold annual luncheon

The East Aurora Garden Club will hold its annual potluck salad luncheon at noon Monday, March 12, at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, Main and Maple streets, East Aurora. The club officers will also be installed during this meeting. For more information, call Jo at 655-6736.

Easter egg hunt set at Warren Park

The Town of Aurora Recreation Department will hold its 30th annual Easter egg hunt at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Warren Drive Park, 736 Warren Drive, East Aurora. This is open to Town of Aurora residents only. Parents are asked to bring a small bag or basket for candy.

Kindness rocks event set for March 31

Guests are invited to make kindness rocks, which are painted rocks with uplifting messages, during an event from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 31, at Rowandale Farms, 650 Main St., East Aurora. The rocks will be left around the community for others to find. The cost is $5 for six to 10 rocks, and guests are encouraged to bring a beverage. All the materials will be provided.
