Nominations sought for Iroquois Wall

The Iroquois Foundation is accepting nominations for the Iroquois Central School District Alumni Wall of Fame. Starting in June, up to five alumni who have shown excellence in their chosen fields and demonstrated outstanding contributions to humanity and/or outstanding service to their community or profession will be chosen. Friends of Aurora Public Library

The Friends of the Aurora Town Public Library will hold its semi-annual meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 26, in the community room at the East Aurora Public Library, 550 Main St., East Aurora.

Golf League looking for new members

St. Andrew’s Golf League is looking for new members this season. The league plays 18 holes on Wednesdays at Elma Meadows golf course, 1711 Girdle Road. The league begins the first week in May. If interested, call Pete at 681-7189.

EA Middle PTO to host fundraiser

East Aurora Middle School Parent Teacher Organization will celebrate and support being a “Blue Ribbon” school with a party and fundraiser from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, April 3, at 42 North Brewing Company, 42 Pine St., East Aurora. East Aurora Library collecting books

Books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles may be dropped off at the East Aurora Library between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, March 18, for the used book sale to be held in June. No Reader’s Digests, encyclopedias, textbooks or VHS tapes will be accepted. For information or to arrange for the pickup of books, call the library at 652-4440, or stop in the library, located at 550 Main St.
