Thursday, March 2

A woman contacted police after her daughter left an iPad at a business on Ernest Place. When the woman went to retrieve the device, it was missing. The woman contacted the restaurant, and a manager told her that a male was seen trying to unlock the device.

Tuesday, March 7

A Lawrence Avenue resident called police about a neighbor who leaves her light on all night long.

Sheriff’s Report

Saturday, March 4

A driver on Girdle Road ran a red light and struck an oncoming vehicle.

Sunday, March 5

Two men were reported to be intoxicated and making a lot of noise in the parking lot of a Seneca Street business.

Tuesday, March 7

A white male wearing high heels and a pink tutu was seen dancing in a county park shelter on Girdle Road. However, when deputies went to investigate, the man had left.

Wednesday, March 8

Deputies assisted local volunteer fire companies following multiple reports of downed power lines and trees following a strong windstorm.
