EA Art Society slates ‘Crystal Moonlight Gala’

Absolut Care of Aurora Park, 292 Main St. in East Aurora, will host the sixth annual “Crystal Moonlight Gala” presented by the East Aurora Art Society. From 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, people can view the works of society artists and also tour the gallery located on the Aurora Park campus. Refreshments will also be available. St. Paul’s Lutheran sets Red Cross blood drive

The American Red Cross will present a blood drive from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West Falls Road. Homemade chicken noodle soup and pies will be available as well. For more information, contact the church at 652-9197.

Fundraiser to be held for Jamison Road Fire

The Jamison Road Fire Company will hold its annual Spring Gun Raffle fundraiser at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3. Tickets are $20 each and include food, pop and beer. For more information or to order tickets, contact Howard Diehl at 587-1366, or anyone affiliated with Jamison Road.

Hawk Creek to present golf tournament

Hawk Creek Wildlife Center will present its second annual “Eagles & Birdies” golf tournament from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Cyber Creek Entertainment Center, 6831 Seneca St., Elma. Event tickets are $40 for the buffet and bar, or $100 for admittance to the tournament, buffet and bar. Tickets can be purchased by calling Hawk Creek at 652-8646 or contacting the website www.hawkcreek.org. All proceeds will benefit the animals at Hawk Creek.

Tops Markets schedules cancer test kits

In recognition of March being Colon Cancer Awareness Month, the Tops at 65 Grey St. will provide free take-home colon cancer screening kits for uninsured people age 50 and older from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 12. A free Tops gift card will be given to those who complete their kits within two weeks. Information on additional no-cost testing services for women 40 and older will also be available.
