Indoor garage sale to benefit club

The Elma, Marilla, Wales Boys & Girls Club will host an indoor garage sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 9, and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, June 10, at 2080 Girdle Road, Elma. Those interested in donating items may drop them off between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. June 6 and 7. For more information call 652-9292.

Fire Truck show slated for June 2

Elma Fire Company will hold an antique fire truck show from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Elma Fire Company Station 2, 2070 Girdle Road, Elma. Registration will take place from 2 to 5 p.m., and awards will be presented at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to preregister, call Jim at 289-0614.

Aurora Adult Day Services sets event

Aurora Adult Day Services will hold its Red, White and Brew event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at The Roycroft Inn, 40 S Grove St., East Aurora. For $40, guests will partake of beer, wine and root beer, as well as food and raffle items. Tickets are available at www.eventbrite.com or from an AADS board member.

Play with kittens at Kitten Shower

Catt County Cat Nippers, a group dedicated to spaying and neutering feral cats, will hold a kitten shower from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at St. Matthias Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora. Guests are welcome to partake in desserts and coffee while snuggling kittens. Admission is free with the donation of a bag of Purina Kitten Chow, scoopable litter or canned kitten food.

Maifest to be held at Spring Garden Park

Hike up your lederhosen and get ready to dance the “Schuhplattler” as Maifest returns to Spring Garden Park. This German-themed festival kicks off at noon Sunday, May 27, at 3838 Two Rod Road, East Aurora. The keg tapping will take place at 1 p.m. Admission is $6 at the gate.

Orienteering Club plans trail run

The Buffalo Orienteering Club plans a 5-mile trail run around the grounds of Knox Farm State Park from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at 437 Buffalo Road, East Aurora. Registration is from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. near the main parking lot off the Buffalo Road parking lot. Post-race pizza and refreshments will be provided with a $10 entry fee.

EMW Boys & Girls Club to host dance

Boys in grades K-6 are invited to attend The Me and my Gal dance from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, at EMW Boys & Girls Club, 2080 Girdle Road, Elma. Made in America to mark eighth year

The Made in America Store will celebrate its eighth anniversary from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at 1000 W. Maple Court, Elma. Artist Ricky Lee will perform, and vendors will be onsite , along with catering by Mikey Dee’s.

Immanuel Quilters plans meetings
