90 Xanax pills stolen from woman’s purse

Thursday, Dec. 28

A Holland man arrested on Dec. 13 for allegedly driving while intoxicated was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Tuesday, Jan. 2

A Prospect Avenue woman contacted police claiming someone stole 90 Xanax pills from her purse while she was at work at a local elementary school.

An inflatable Christmas decoration on Warren Drive was vandalized with black spray paint.

Thursday, Jan. 4

An 80-year-old woman was contacted by a person interested in selling her insurance for her vehicle. While the woman didn’t purchase the insurance, she accidently gave the caller her Social Security number.

Sheriff’s Report

Saturday, Dec. 30

A car was damaged after an airbag deployed during an accident at Maple Street and Route 400.

Deputies were called to Seneca Street for an ongoing dispute between neighbors.

Monday, Jan. 1

Deputies were called to a Billington Road address for a burglar alarm.

Tuesday, Jan. 2

Around $8,000 was taken from a bank account belonging to a person on Bridle Lane.

Wednesday, Jan. 3

• A driver on Hemstreet Road backed out of a driveway and struck a school bus. Deputies reported minor damage to both vehicles.
