Toddler Time, for children 20 months to 3½ years, accompanied by an adult, is being offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Story Time, for children 3½ to 5 years, is being offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Family Story Time, for children up to 3½ years, is being offered at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Children 6 and older are invited to the Lego Club at 11 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month. The Book Club for adults takes place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25. Marcia Yox will lead the group in a discussion of the book “The Secret Keeper” by Kate Morton. Call the library at 652-4440 or stop in to register. The library will host a coloring party for adults 17 and older at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7. Each guest will receive a copy of Cosmic Doodles by Tina Ames. Registration is required. Create trinket boxes made from upcycled Christmas cards from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12. Participants will have a chance to donate their creations to senior citizens in the community. Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required. The final Reading Club session of 2017 will be held at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13. Children ages 6 through 12 are invited to read a book and win a prize. Call 652-4440 to register. Kids ages 10 to 17 are invited to learn how to make a decorative paper star using basic folding techniques. The class begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. Pre-registration

Preschool Story Time, for children ages 3 to 5 years, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Fridays through Dec. 8. A Christmas crafting challenge will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11. The event is open to ages 11-17 and prizes will be awarded to winners. Call to register. Hear Elf stories, play a game and participate in a craft. Registration is required. The Elma Lego Club will hold its annual Christmas Party starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Open to children ages 6-12. Registration is required. Adults ages 18 and older are invited to color at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18. Have fun and relax with this creative activity. All materials will be provided. Registration is required. The Elma Book Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, to discuss “The Little Giant of Aberdeen County” by Tiffany Baker. Registration is required. Children ages 6 to 12 are invited to learn about stained glass at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27. The children will participate in a hands-on workshop where they will learn get a chance to make their own creation to take home. Space is limited; call 652-4440 to register.
