Girls seen walking on roof of business

Friday, June 16

A man lost his phone at a Main Street business.

Tuesday, July 4

Police were called to an Elm Street business after reports that three young girls were walking on the roof of the business. Police arrived at the scene and found one girl attempting to climb a fence surrounding the business and two others inside the fenced area. The girls now face trespassing charges.

A Main Street resident called police after she returned home and found some of her items moved around. While the woman said she did not think anyone took anything, she was worried that someone had been able to get into her home, as she locks her doors and no one has a spare key.

Friday, June 30

A driver on Girdle Road hit a guardrail after falling asleep at the wheel.

Deputies were called to Ostrander Road after someone stole money from a roadside vegetable stand.

Monday, July 3

Two laptops, along with several credit cards and checks, were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Hall Road.

Tuesday, July 4

• A Bullis Road resident accidently dialed 911.

Wednesday, July 5

Deputies were called to a Jamison Road business for a report of an abandoned vehicle. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered the owner of the car had permission from the manager to park there.

A large box and an umbrella were blocking traffic on Maple Road. The objects were removed by deputies.

An intoxicated man was found sleeping on a bench at Village Green Park on Bowen Road.

Thursday, July 6

Deputies removed several large rolls of carpeting that were blocking the road on Route 400.
