Center calendar of events

The Senior Citizen Club meets at noon on Thursdays. The Red Hats luncheon takes place at 11 a.m. on the last Tuesday of every month. Call Madonna at 652-4957 for reservations. The Rural Transit Van is available. To book the van or for more information, call 662-8378 or visit the Rural Transit Service website at www.RuralTransitService.org. The center is an emergency shelter for Aurora. It is equipped with a generator and will be open during emergencies. A Memorial Day luncheon will be held on Friday, May 26. Those interested in attending should make reservations with their dining room staff one week in advance. The Star-Spangled Pops Coffee Concert will take place Saturday, May 27. The bus will leave the Senior Center at 8:45 a.m. and return at 3 p.m. The Erie County Department of Senior Services/NY Connects will be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon every Thursday. FRIDAY: 10 a.m. - Exercise 12:30 p.m. - Bowling at Lancaster Lanes

The Elma Historical Society meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month. Elma Seniors meets at noon every Tuesday and Wednesday. For more information, call Betsy Goinski at 652-3374.
