Absolut Care hosting exercise classes

St. Paul’s Lutheran sets healing service

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 53 West Falls Road, will host “Shine the Light on Cancer” on Saturday, Feb. 4. Two services will be held, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. From 7 to 10 p.m., the church will have a candlelight vigil of prayer and remembrance. People are asked to bring luminarias made from used glass jars for each person affected by cancer, to either pray for or remember. St. Vincent de Paul to present Vegas Night

St. Vincent de Paul School, 6441 Seneca St., will hold “Vegas Night” from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. Tickets, which are $20 presale and $25 at the door, include $5 in gaming chips, beer, wine, snacks, coffee, desserts and a chance to win four Buffalo Sabres tickets. St. Gabriel’s Ladies Guild to hold meat raffle

Salut event to benefit Shakespeare in Park

Salut Wine and Spirits, 658 Main St. in East Aurora, will host a free wine-tasting event that also includes cheese from Nickel City Cheese and Mercantile as well as fresh breads from Elm Street Bakery. Legion Post to host steak roast

The East Aurora American Legion Post will present a steak roast from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at the post, 1 Legion Drive off Center Street. Desserts, soft drinks and coffee will be available. Jamison Road Fire Co. to hold fish fry

The Jamison Road Volunteer Fire Co. will hold an Ash Wednesday fish fry at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at the fire hall, 1071 Jamison Road. The cost is $10 each, and takeout will be available.
