Library events
LEGO Club will be held at 11 a.m. Saturdays through May 5. The club is for ages 7 and up and is limited to 18 children. Call or stop by the library to register.
“Book Babies” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursdays; “Toddler Time” at 10:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays; and “Story Time” at 6:30 p.m. Mondays. “Story Time” for children ages 3 to 5 who do not attend school programs will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays or 1:30 p.m. Thursdays. Programs run through April 26. Call the library for more information.
The library will present a series of computer classes in February and March. “Internet Basics” will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13. “Internet Intermediate” will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17. “Downloads 2 Go” will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 2. Finally, “Introduction to eBay” will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 16. Space is limited for all programs. Call the library for additional information or to register.
The SPCA will present a preschool story and craft hour at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21. The event is for children ages 2 to 5 and requires registration to attend. Call Mary Jo Sicurella at 629-3538.
At 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, Doug Rougeux will perform “Bubble Mania,” a combination of bubble art and science. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Aurora Town Library.

Library events
The LEGO Club will be held again from 11 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of each month. Ages 6 to 12 are welcome, and sign-up is required for each monthly session. Contact the library to register. The theme for February is “Young Inventors.”
“Book Babies,” for newborns through age 2½, will be from 11:30 to 11:50 a.m. Tuesdays. “Toddler Time,” for ages 2½ to 3½, will take place from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. Tuesdays. “Preschool Story Time,” for ages 3½ to 5½, takes place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Fridays. All three programs run for a six-week period, and all require registration to attend.
The Friends of the Elma Library will hold the annual “Tax Time” used book sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the week of Feb. 8 through 15. Donations of books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and puzzles can be dropped off at the library at any time. The library will not accept encyclopedias or text books.
“A Pinkalicious Party” is planned at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15. There will be stories, crafts, games and cupcake decorating for children ages 3 to 8 (caregivers welcome). Registration is required.
A special Board Game and Craft Day is set aside during the February vacation from school. This will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Children ages 6 and up are welcome, and no registration is required.
Movie Night will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24. “Cars 2” will be the feature presentation. Snacks will be provided, and no registration is required.
Pizza Lover’s Club of the Elma Library will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27. This club is for grades 6 to 8. Registration is required.
