Countryside Garden Club meeting Sept. 8

The Countryside Garden Club of Elma will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the home of Myretta Zimpher on Hessland Court. An instructional class on foam stamping will follow the business meeting and lunch.

Volunteers sought for Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels WNY is seeking volunteers to join the Driving Force Volunteer Team, as a volunteer shortage in Buffalo has people on a waiting list for meals. Meals on Wheels delivers hot meals to 1,600 homebound elderly and disabled people daily. Volunteering requires approximately one hour per delivery day, with no special skills or training needed.
