EA Art Society to host guest speaker

The East Aurora Art Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St., East Aurora. Photographer Donna Jordan Dusel will be the featured artist.

Art Walk to take place in East Aurora

The semiannual Art Walk will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. The event will feature artists displaying their work throughout the Village of East Aurora.

East Aurora Library collecting books

Books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles may be dropped off at the East Aurora Library between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, for the used-book sale to be held in June. No Reader’s Digests, encyclopedias, textbooks or VHS tapes will be accepted. For information or to arrange for the pickup of books, call the library at 652-4440, or stop in the library, located at 550 Main St.

American Red Cross sets blood drives

The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Cy’s Elma Pharmacy, 2317 Bowen Road, Elma; from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the East Aurora Moose Lodge 370, 905 Main St., East Aurora; and from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Faith Lutheran Church, 1230 Bowen Road, Elma.

Steak roast set at Elma Fire Company

The Elma Fire Company will hold its annual steak roast at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept 16, at the Elma Fire Company, 2945 Bowen Road, Elma. Tickets are $20. For more information, call 655-2454.

42 North to host brewery tour

42 North Brewing Company’s chief brewing officer, Clay Keel, will share the story of the brewery during a tour from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at 25 Pine St., East Aurora. Guests are invited to stay after the tour for a Dutch treat brew tasting.
