EA Rotary to hold annual party

Reunion Weekend in East Aurora kicks off with the East Aurora Rotary’s annual Rotary Party. The party goes from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, July 28, at Fireman’s Field on Pine Street. The event will include food, beer and wine. Admission is $5 and supports the East Aurora Rotary Club.

Knox Farm State Park to host 5K race

The fourth annual Cross Country Crusade 5K will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at Knox Farm State Park , 437 Buffalo Road, East Aurora. T-shirts will be available while supplies last. Pizza and refreshments will also be provided. Prizes will be awarded for top male and female runners, and all runners will be entered in a free raffle for gift certificates and baskets from Western New York businesses. Free movies offered in park

Movies in the Park continues with the film “Lego Batman Movie” at dusk on Friday, July 28, at Hamlin Park, 166 S. Grove St., East Aurora. The event runs every Friday through the end of August. Activities will be held before the start of the movie. Concessions are available, and guests will have an opportunity to win door prizes.

Wednesday concerts set in Elma

The Boys of Summer will perform at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Elma Village Green Park, 3001 Bowen Road, Elma. The free concert is part of a series taking place every Wednesday through Aug. 30.

Breast cancer survivors invited

Bosom Buddies of Western New York, a breast cancer survivor support group, will hold its annual August picnic at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Shelter No. 1, Elma Town Park, Bowen Road, Elma. Lunch will be catered, and reservations are due no later than Aug. 1. Guests are asked to bring a wrapped “white elephant” gift for the annual crazy auction after lunch. EA Garden Club to host picnic

The East Aurora Garden Club will hold its annual picnic and auction at noon Monday, Aug. 14, at the Elma Town Park, Shelter No. 1, 3011 Bowen Road, Elma.
