Jeff Gramlich and Dan Ohar have both served in the military.

The wars they fought may have been waged during different eras, but the two veterans have had the opportunity to find camaraderie once more, this time on the ice.

Both men are members of two war veteran hockey teams called the Buffalo Sabres Warriors and Buffalo Sabres Sled Vets.

Relay For Life schedules fundraiser

The Mini Relay For Life will present a food truck and market event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at Elma Town Park on Bowen Road. Food trucks including Lloyd’s Taco Truck, The Roaming Buffalo Food Truck, The event is free to attend. For more information, call 512-3584.
